
One person was killed and three others were injured following a high-speed pursuit that ended in a violent crash in San Bernardino Saturday night.
The chase began after the driver failed to yeild to deputies during a traffic stop around 11:48 p.m. west of the 210 Freeway, authorities said.
The pursuit vehicle reached speeds over 130 miles per hour, swerving though lanes. The chase came to end nearly 50 miles later after the vehicle lost control near the N State Street offramp on the east 210 Freeway, accordingt o San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
All four occupants, three men and a woman, were ejected from the vehicle. One of the occupants died at the scene and the remaining three were tranported to a nearby hospital.
Detectives from the San Bernadino Sheriff’s Department’s Central Station are investigating the incident.
