One person is dead following a house fire in Pasadena, according to firefighters.
First responders were notified of a fire just before 6:30 a.m. Saturday on the 1500 block of Lancashire Place. There, a home was on fire for reasons still under investigation.
As firefighters battled the flames, they searched the home and found one person dead on the property. It’s unclear if that individual was inside or outside the home when they were located.
The cause of that individual’s death is unclear. Authorities did not release details on the individual, such as their name, approximate age or gender.
Although the cause of the fire remains under investigation, arson investigators are on the scene, according to Pasadena firefighters.
