Two people were dead Sunday following a multi-car crash at a Long Beach intersection.

The fatal crash was reported around 10:15 p.m. near 6th Street and Atlantic Boulevard, according to Long Beach Police.

At least three others were transported to nearby hospitals. Their condition is unclear.

The fatal crash Sunday night comes after Long Beach recorded one of its deadliest years for drivers and pedestrians in 2025. Police data show there were 53 fatal crashes in Long Beach in 2025.

According to state data from the last 10 years, Long Beach is California’s 8th deadliest city for crashes on both surface streets and freeways.
