
A 53-year-old man and his dog died Sunday following a fire at an East Hollywood home, the LAFD said.
Firefighters responded to the blaze at a single-family home just after 3 p.m. along Kenmore Avenue near Fountain Avenue.
Crews searched the inside of the home immediately after reports of a person trapped. Inside the home, a 53-year-old and his pet dog were found dead by firefighters, the LAFD said.
The identity of the man was not immediately released.
The fire was extinguished in about 22 minutes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
