
Emergency crews are responding to a brush fire burning in Joshua Tree on Sunday.
As of 1:50 p.m., the blaze, which was dubbed the Black Rock Fire, burned 66 acres, according to Cal Fire. It was first reported around 10:30 a.m.
The fire was reported at Black Rock Canyon Campground, which is just south of Yucca Valley. It’s unclear what started the fire.
Injuries connected with the fire have not been reported.
