A Chino Hills neighborhood was evacuated Sunday following a house fire that injured at least nine people, authorities said.
The fire was reported around 5 p.m. at the residence on Sierra Vista Drive.
The home went up in flames due to a possible gas leak, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Nine people, who were in the house at the time of the fire, were transported to a nearby hospital. None of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening, according to authorities.
Sierra Vista Drive to Del Norte Avenue was evacuated out of precaution.
