
Thousands of cans of beer spilled onto the 210 Freeway in Azusa after a big rig crashed early Tuesday.
The crash was first reported shortly after 3 a.m. on the westbound 210 at Vernon Avenue.
The traffic delays continue into the 6 a.m. hour as the two right lines are still closed.
Traffic was backed up all the way to Sunflower Avenue, according to the SigAlert website.
NewsChopper4 was over the scene where one of the larger big rigs was seen with the back end crumpled up.
Drivers are urged to find alternative routes as the backup begins affecting nearby routes like the westbound 10 Freeway, Arrow Highway and Foothill Boulevard.
