Homicide detectives launched an investigation in East Los Angeles Tuesday after a body was found inside a car.
The LA County Sheriff’s Department said it received a call about a possible medical emergency at 4 a.m.. Tuesday in the area of Telegraph Road and S. Woods Avenue.
Once deputies arrived, they discovered a man with several gunshot wounds.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s department said.
NewsChopper4 was overhead when it spotted two patrol vehicles surrounding cars parked on the street next to an unfinished house.
The identity of the man with the gunshot wounds was not immediately available.
