
A death investigation is underway after a body was found on the tracks of a Metro train in South Los Angeles Friday morning.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the body was found shortly before 6 a.m. on the Metro A line train tracks.
Police believe the victim may have possibly been struck by the train.
The area around 41st Street and Long Beach Avenue has been closed off as the investigation continues.
