A burglary suspect has locked himself in a home and is refusing to come out early Thursday.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene at the 13200 block of Pinney Street at around 2:40 a.m.
SWAT and K9 units were on scene trying to get the man to come out. He is reported to be the only person inside the residence.
According to the LAPD, the man broke into another home and when officers arrived, he went into a second home and barricaded himself there.
Police said that there were people present in the first home that was broken into.
