
A burglary suspect surrendered to authorities Thursday after breaking into a firearms and outdoor gear store in Norwalk and staying there for several hours.
The break-in was reported at about 3 a.m. at Turner’s Outdoorsman in the 11300 block of Firestone Boulevard. Crisis negotiators and members of the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Bureau were dispatched to the scene in southern Los Angeles County.
The man surrendered and was taken into custody at about 10 a.m.
It was not immediately clear how the man entered the building.
