The pursuit of two theft suspects ended in a crash in Los Feliz early Friday.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers saw a car matching the description of a suspect vehicle connected to catalytic converter thefts.
Officers saw two people outside of their car, surrounding another car on the street shortly before 4 a.m.
When officers approached the two suspects, described as two juveniles, a short pursuit ensued lasting less than a minute.
The theft suspects’ car clipped the curb and lost control, LAPD said.
Officers recovered multiple catalytic converters and tools.
The investigation is ongoing.
