Two women and a man were found dead Saturday in a Rolling Hills home in what sheriff’s homicide detectives are describing as a murder-suicide.
The deaths were reported about 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Crest Road, near Eastfield Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A woman called the Lomita sheriff’s station to report she discovered her sister and father dead, said sheriff’s officials.
As deputies searched the home, they found a second woman dead.
The names of the three people and their causes of death will be released by the Medical Examiner’s office.
The initial investigation indicated the deaths were a domestic violence-related murder-suicide with no threat to the community, sheriff’s officials said.
Anyone with information was asked to call the sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500 or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
