Jail records showed director Rob Reiner’s son Nick was being held in jail on suspicion of murder early Monday, with bail set at $4 million.
Nick Reiner, who police initially declined to name as a suspect, was arrested at 5:04 a.m. local time by LAPD detectives.
The bodies of Rob and Michele Reiner were discovered Sunday afternoon at the couple’s home in Brentwood, California, and pronounced dead by LA Fire Department paramedics.
Police sealed off the home and surrounding streets while conducting their investigation of the crime scene overnight.
