Police on Monday were looking for the driver who hit a 12-year-old boy on an E-bike in Anaheim.
The child was taken to a nearby hospital with a broken leg and concussions. The incident happened Sunday around 8:45 p.m. near Topeka and North, according to Anaheim police Sgt. Matt Sutter.
According to Sutter, the boy and the driver of the car ran stop signs and collided. The car’s driver then crashed about a block away. Here, the driver and the passenger fled.
The vehicle was impounded.
Sutter said DUI is a potential factor based on the evidence that was found in the car.
