A driver who failed to yield for police after running a red light led police officers on a pursuit from San Bernardino to the downtown Los Angeles area Monday night.
The chase was reported sometime around 10:15 p.m. in San Bernardino for the traffic violation. Refusing to yield to officers, the pickup truck driver traveled at moderate speeds on the 10 Freeway until eventually reaching Los Angeles.
Continuing westbound on the 10 Freeway, the driver eventually pulled aside onto the shoulder of the freeway near downtown Los Angeles and surrendered to police without incident.
It’s unclear what charges the driver may face.
