
A woman was killed Friday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking on a marked crosswalk in Cheviot Hills, police said.
Police responded to the call of a traffic collision just after 5 p.m. along West Pico Boulevard, near Motor Avenue.
The victim, identified as a woman in her 70s, was fatally struck by the vehicle that did not stop after the crash, according to the LAPD.
The vehicle was described as Black Audi Q8, police said.
