
Firefighters were battling a brush fire that prompted evacuation orders in Riverside County on Friday.
The Pyrite Fire was reported around 5:19 p.m. and was burning in Jurupa Valley, according to Cal Fire.
The brush fire burned over 100 acres and prompted officials to issue evacuation orders for zones JUR0031 and JUR0017.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
