
Evacuation orders were issued for high-risk properties near recent wildfire burn areas in Los Angeles County due to the threat of flooding and debris flows from a mid-November storm.
The mandatory evacuation orders were for “select vulnerable properties,” the city said Friday morning. The order will begin at 8 p.m. Friday and remain in effect until 8 a.m. Sunday.
Los Angeles police will contact residents under the select evacuation orders.
Evacuation warnings and targeted evacuation orders were issued for the following areas. The warnings will be in effect until 8 p.m., when the targeted evacuation orders begin.

- Bethany
- Eaton
- Palisades
- Hurst
- Kenneth
- Sunset
- Lidia
- Franklin
Evacuation warnings also were issued Friday for parts of Ventura County.
The storm brought scattered showers to Los Angeles County overnight and into Friday morning. A second wave set to arrive overnight and into Saturday is expected to produce heavier rainfall that could trigger flooding and debris flows.
