As Los Angeles remains under a local state of emergency, city official Thursday extended the evacuation warning for those living near the recent wildfire burn scars in the Pacific Palisades.
The city said the evacuation warnings will be in place until “further notice.”
If conditions worsen, and the evacuation warnings become mandatory evocation orders, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department will reach out to each household in high-risk areas, the city said.
The communities, which stretch through the Pacific Palisades through in Mandeville Canyon, were affected by the Palisades, Hurst and Sunset fires.
Residents were also warned that they could experience power outages, debris flow and flooding as the storm passes through the region.
