
Sheriff’s deputies are searching for the person who stabbed a woman following a fight overnight in West Hollywood.
A woman in her 20s was stabbed in her upper body after a fight broke out around 3 a.m. on the 800 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Officials received a call of a fight that quickly updated to an assault with a deadly weapon call.
The victim was found critically injured at the scene and was taken to a nearby hospital. Her name has not been released.
It’s unclear what led up to the fight, but LASD said it involved several people. A detailed description of the person who stabbed the victim was not immediately available.
