Fire crews are battling a fire at a two-story building in Winnetka Tuesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The fire was reported shortly after 5 a.m. on the 20000 block of W. Sherman Way.
According to LAFD, they are making good progress on the fire and the incident is split into defensive in one portion of the building due to a partial collapse and fire on both floors.
“It is an offensive operation towards the rear where crews are also working to prevent any further extension through the office building,” LAFD said.
One person was transported but their age and condition were not known.
