Five people were injured Saturday when a second-story deck collapsed at a San Pedro home.
The collapse was reported at 5:23 p.m. Saturday at 3518 S. Spearing Ave., north of West Paseo Del Mar, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton.
“All patients are awake, alert and being assessed for injuries,” Middleton said.
The extent of injuries and whether anyone required hospitalization was not released.
