Authorities in the Antelope Valley of Los Angeles County continued to investigate Monday after human remains were found.
A woman reported at around 12 p.m. that she spotted what appeared to be human bones in the Pearblossom neighborhood, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told NBC Los Angeles exclusively.
Once investigators examined the bones, they determined the remains did belong to a person and launched a homicide investigation.
