Topanga Canyon Boulevard that connects the coastal communities and the San Fernando Valley will be partially closed overnight on Friday, affecting the community of Topanga.
Only one lane for the roadway – in both directions – will be open between 10 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday between Mulholland Drive and Happy Trail.
While flaggers will be positioned to direct alternating traffic, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area or give themselves extra time to get to the destination if possible.

Neighbors who live or run a business in the area were warned about noise, vibrations and dust from the construction.
The lane closures are part of the ongoing project to repave Topanga Canyon Boulevard or State Route 27.
Crews are upgrading bus pads, curb ramps and pedestrian push buttons on the 18-mile stretch of the roadway from Pacific Coast Highway to Devonshire Street in Chatsworth.
