Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department began chasing a stolen box truck in the Santa Monica area Friday afternoon.
The LAPD confirmed it first received a call about the stolen car at 11:36 a.m at Stoner Avenue near Gateway Boulevard off the 10 Freeway.
Police said there is one male suspect inside the truck.
Cellphone video from Ocean Avenue near Montana Avenue showed several police SUVs were following the stolen car.
