With Valentine’s Day this Saturday, Riverside Community Hospital is going big on the love for their littlest patients.
The hospital on Magnolia Avenue in Riverside shared adorable photos with NBC Los Angeles of patients in the facility’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) wearing holiday-themed outfits, ready to celebrate their first Valentine’s Day.
The photos included a baby peacefully sleeping on a white heart-shaped pillow while cuddling with a teddy bear and a baby curled up in a red swaddle, next to a dinosaur stuffy.

Riverside Community Hospital The cutest slumber we ever did see.
Then there was the baby wearing white overalls with the words “Lover Boy” scrolled across the front and another sporting a onesie that read, “Cutest Little Valentine.” There were also babies wearing entirely-too-big, heart-shaped sunglasses, snuggled up in their swaddles.
The holiday-themed photoshoot was fitting, considering these little love bugs are known to steal hearts across the hospital.
Riverside Community Hospital’s NICU provides critical, specialized care to newborns who are premature or born with low birth weight, respiratory issues, or other illnesses.
The facility’s 18,766-square-foot NICU features 35 infant beds, nursing rooms, isolation rooms, a family waiting room, and a room where parents can sleep so they can stay close to their babies.
