Julio Cesar Lopez Zavala, 23, of Hawthorne, appeared in court after he was arrested in connection with an assault that took place at the concert. The electronic group was performing at the Rose Bowl on Aug. 16 when the attack happened.
According to the Pasadena Police Department, Zavala assaulted three people after he became agitated when a drink was spilled.
At his court appearance Monday, a judge ruled that Zavala was not a threat to the public. The man was released on his own recognizance, but he was ordered to wear an ankle monitor until further notice.
Zavala is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 21.
