A person was reportedly stabbed and run over by a vehicle and died on a Fullerton street Sunday night.
The crime was reported to the Fullerton Police Department at 8:52 p.m. Sunday and occurred at Euclid Street and Baker Avenue, FPD spokeswoman Kristy Wills told City News Service.
The department received a 911 call from a witness who claimed to see a male of unknown age stabbed and possibly run over at that location, Wells said. No vehicles were reported to have stopped at the scene.
Arriving officers found the victim in the roadway and attempted lifesaving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. His name and age were not released and the Orange County Coroner’s office will determine the cause and manner of his death.
Crimes Against Persons detectives were investigating at the scene and the streets were expected to remain closed for several hours, Wells said.
Suspect and motive information was not immediately available.
