
Police are investigating the deadly shooting of a man that was reported in East Los Angeles on Saturday.
Officers were called to the 3900 block of E. Cesar Chavez Avenue just before 8 p.m. There, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
The victim died of his injuries at the scene. Details about him, such as his name and age, were not released.
LASD did not say if an arrest was made in connection with the shooting, but said the case is being investigated as a homicide.
