Team USA turned Milan Cortina 2026 into a record book rewrite.
Over 16 days of competition, the Americans matched and pushed past historic benchmarks, piling up double-digit gold medals, surpassing 30 total podium finishes and delivering breakthroughs across figure skating, speed skating, freestyle skiing and hockey.
From Jordan Stolz’s multi-medal haul to Alysa Liu ending a 24-year figure skating singles drought, the Games were defined by both dominance and depth. But the story of Milan Cortina goes beyond one flag: Norway’s endurance machine, the Netherlands’ skating supremacy, Japan’s snowboard surge and Germany’s bobsled dominance shaped a fiercely competitive medal table.

Norway’s Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo had one of the greatest performances in Olympic history going 6-for-6 in gold medals, adding to his already impressive Olympic total.
