
The body of a newborn was found Monday at the USC Cardinal Gardens student residences, according to Los Angeles police.
Officers responded at about 1:30 a.m. Monday to a call in the 3100 block of McClintock Avenue, where they found the baby, police said. Details about a cause of death were not immediately available, pending the medical examiner’s investigation.
The coroner’s report indicated the girl was 19 hours old.
USC Public Safety referred questions about the death to the LAPD.
