An off duty Glendale firefighter has been detained in connection with a homicide investigation involving a woman found dead in a North Hollywood home.
LAPD sources tell NBC4 Investigates that the firefighter flagged down a police unit early this morning and said that he got into a dispute with his wife.
Police responded to a home on the 5000 block of Satsuma Avenue at around 4:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Officers had arrived at the home to do a welfare check and found a woman, believed to be in her 40s, dead.
The woman’s manner of death is still not known. No further details were immediately available.
