
A 25-year-old man was killed and five other people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Los Feliz, authorities said.
The 25-year-old man was ejected from a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The crash occurred at about 3:20 a.m. Sunday on the northbound freeway at Los Feliz Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A 28-year-old man with serious injuries was rushed to a hospital, as well as a 61-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and two 22-year-old men in fair condition, said Lyndsey Lantz of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A Sigalert, issued at 3:39 a.m. closing all northbound lanes, was canceled at 9:54 a.m., the CHP said.
