
A teenager has died after a shooting at a gas station Saturday night in Pico Rivera, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies responded to the 8800 block of Whittier Boulevard at around 11:45 p.m.
At the scene they found a 13-year-old-boy on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A gold Toyota Camry that was at the scene is also being used as evidence in the investigation.
The shooting happened at the 76 gas station on the corner of Whittier and Rosemead boulevards.
No details were immediately available on what led up to the shooting. Detectives are still in the preliminary stages of their investigation.
