
Los Angeles police arrested a driver Thursday following a high-speed chase through streets and freeways in the San Fernando Valley, authorities said.
The pursuit, which reached speeds of more than 130 mph, began around 8 p.m.
The suspect, driving a black Infiniti sedan believed to be armed and dangerous, was registered in Valencia, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The vehicle fled across multiple freeways and drove recklessly through surface streets, weaving through traffic as officers pursued.
NewsChopper 4 footage showed the driver exiting the 210 Freeway and continuing through local streets.
Police did not immediately release details on what triggered the chase. No injuries were reported.
