Emergency personnel responded to a propane tank fire on Wednesday in Sylmar, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Crews were called to the area of Sierra Highway and San Fernando Road at 1:41 p.m. Due to the potential danger of the situation, first responders let the tank burn out as they monitored the scene.
It’s unclear if any injuries occurred in connection with the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
