The ASICS Los Angeles Marathon is less than two weeks away and more than 25,000 runners are expected to compete in the sold-out race.
Here’s a look at the LA Marathon map, whether you’re hitting the pavement or cheering for the runners.

The marathon starts at 7 a.m. from Dodger Stadium. Runners have 6 hours and 30 minutes to complete the course from when the last person crosses the start line.
The 26.2-mile course goes through some of LA’s most recognizable neighborhoods and landmarks, including Little Tokyo, Capitol Records Tower, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman’s Chinese Theater, Chateau Marmont, Rodeo Drive, Chinatown, Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills.
Entertainment along the route will include “cheer zones,” plus performances by DJs, dragon dancers, drummers and more.
The finish line is at Santa Monica Boulevard and Avenue of the Stars in Century City. Spectators are welcome to join the festival at the finish line.
Deena Kastor won the bronze medal in the marathon during the 2004 Olympics in Athens. Lolita Lopez reports for the NBC4 News at 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026.
NBC4 and Telemundo 52 were named the new broadcasting partners of the ASICS Los Angeles Marathon this year, and the partnership will continue through at least 2029. Expect lots of coverage from the marathon across our platforms, in both English and Spanish.
