
A sheared fire hydrant is causing flooding at a gas station in Tarzana early Friday.
The Los Angeles Fire Department was at the scene of 18500 West Ventura Boulevard shortly after 5 a.m.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Otis Avenue.
According to the LAFD, the sheared hydrant caused the structural collapse of a gas station awning and damage to a gas pump.
The water spilled from the hydrant has also caused flooding in the intersection.
