An investigation is underway after a shooting in Reseda left one man dead Friday night.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the intersection of Baird Avenue and Vanowen Street around 8 p.m. to reports of a shooting.
When police arrived, they found that one man had been fatally shot.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the shooting, but some witnesses told police they heard dozens of gunshots.
Robbery homicide detectives will be handling the investigation and police were expected to be in the area for several more hours.
