Police are investigating after a shooting was reported across the street from a North Hollywood high school.
Officers responded near the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Vineland Avenue sometime before 4:45 p.m. Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department said. One person suffering from a gunshot wound was taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
Police said one potential suspect has been detained.
