
An investigation is underway in downtown Los Angeles after reports of shots fired early Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to an apartment building at the 1000 block of S. Broadway after 5:30 a.m.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also arrived on the scene as a precaution.
The investigation has been going on for two hours at the building near West Olympic Boulevard and Broadway.
Dozens of LAPD patrol vehicles were seen along the area where the investigation is happening.
LAPD said there is no active shooter and no victims have been reported. It was not clear who fired those shots.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays. No further details were immediately available.
