After scrubbing its launch plans last week, SpaceX was expected to try again Friday to send 140 satellites aboard Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The planned launch is part of the transporter 15 mission, designed to send small, commercial satellites into orbit during the 57-minute window, starting at 10:18 a.m..

“On board this mission are 140 payloads, including cubesats, microsats, hosted payloads, and orbital transfer vehicles carrying 13 of those payloads to be deployed at a later time,” SpaceX said in a statement.

A live stream was schedule to become available at around 10:03 a.m. ahead of the liftoff.

Those in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties may hear sonic booms during the launch, depending on the weather.
