The Los Angeles Dodgers‘ back-to-back World Series title hopes rest on the outcome of a must-win Game 6 Friday against the Blue Jays in Toronto.

After taking a 2-1 series lead Monday in an 18-inning duel, Los Angeles dropped the next two games at Dodger Stadium to give the Blue Jays a 3-2 series lead. The tenacious Blue Jays outscored the Dodgers 12-3 and outhit them 20-10 in Games 4 and 5.

A Toronto win Friday would give the Blue Jays their first World Series title in three decades and leave the Dodgers a lot to ponder after a season of high expectations.

Here’s what to know about Game 6.

When is Game 6 of the World Series?

A potentially decisive Game 6 of the World Series is set for 5 p.m. Friday at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. A Dodgers win would force Game 7 on Saturday and a chance for LA to claim its second straight title.

No team has won consecutive World Series since the Yankees took three in a row from 1998-2000.

Who will pitch for the Dodgers and Blue Jays?

Game 6 will be a rematch of Game 2 starting pitchers.

The Dodgers will turn to right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (12-8, 2.49 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 201 strikeouts), who delivered a Game 2 gem in Toronto by going the distance to help LA even the series at 1-1. He gave up four hits in the first World Series complete game since 2015.

The Blue Jays will turn to Kevin Gausman (10-11, 3.59 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 189 strikeouts), who yielded three runs through 6 2/3 innings in Game 2.

Manager Dave Roberts shook up the Dodgers lineup to no avail in Game 5. Friday’s starting lineup has yet to be announced.

“We’ve got to make some adjustments,” Roberts said. “We’ve been in elimination games, a core group of these guys, and we’ve got to find a way to win a game. That’s it.”
