A Los Angeles city dump truck was partially suspended over the side of a concrete flood channel Thursday in the Valley Village area.
LAFD crews were working to recover the unoccupied truck from what the agency described a “precarious position.” The truck appeared to have crashed through a chain link fence before coming to a stop with its front wheels dangling over the flood channel in the 5400 block of North Coldwater Canyon Avenue.
Traffic in the area was expected to be affected by the operation.
No injuries were reported.
