
A woman was found fatally shot behind an apartment complex in North Hills late Monday night.
The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene at around 11:30 p.m. at the 9000 block of Orion Avenue.
The woman was believed to be between 25 and 35 years old.
It was not clear if the woman and the suspected gunman knew each other or if the woman lived in the area.
No arrests have been made as the search for the gunman continues.
According to Christine Moselle, a detective with the LAPD, they do not have any witnesses, motive or video at this time.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the scene, where the woman was pronounced dead.
